Cancellations & Refunds

1. Digital Service
Iris AI provides access to an AI assistant and usage credits (“tokens”). We do not ship physical goods. When you add tokens to your account, they become available immediately for use in generating AI answers, indexing content, and handling requests from your site visitors.
Because tokens are delivered instantly and can be consumed immediately, they are generally non-refundable once issued to your account.
2. When You Can Request a Refund
We will review refund requests in situations such as:
- You were charged more than once (duplicate payment for the same order).
- You were charged but tokens were never added to your account.
- A technical issue on our side made the Service completely unavailable and you could not use newly purchased tokens at all.
We may ask for your transaction ID, account email, and any relevant logs so we can confirm the issue.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
We do not provide refunds in situations such as:
- Tokens were used (partially or fully) to generate answers or index content.
- You exposed the assistant publicly and automated/anonymous visitors consumed your tokens.
- You disagree with the quality of an AI response, unless the service was fully non-functional.
- You are using your own external AI key (BYO mode). In BYO mode, billing is handled directly by your provider (for example, OpenAI), not by us.
You are responsible for configuring rate limits, abuse protection, or login requirements if you do not want anonymous visitors to spend tokens on your behalf.
4. How to Request a Refund Review
If you believe you qualify for a refund review based on the cases above, please contact us at:
Include the email you used to sign up, your transaction ID / payment reference, and a short description of the issue. We aim to review these requests within 1–2 business days.
5. Cancellation
You may stop using Iris AI at any time. There are no long-term contracts and no monthly subscription commitment. If you remove the assistant from your site or uninstall the plugin, no further tokens will be consumed.
Unused prepaid tokens will remain in your account for future use, subject to any stated expiry or reset policy. Tokens are not cash and cannot be exchanged for money.
We reserve the right to update this policy to comply with payment partner, card network, and regulatory requirements.
